To run a successful association, a strong and committed team must be in place to ensure that the office and campaigns run smoothly...

Chairman: Tom Kenyon

“I am Chairman of the West Nadder Branch and of the Association. Having had the privilege to serve in the Life Guards for 8 years, I joined the Party in 2000. I love campaigning on the doorstep, have stood as a Councillor and assisted a number of MPs to successes in the last couple of challenging elections. I am self employed and among other things, provide Project Management advice and support to large and small companies. Since the Army I have lived in Bradford-on-Avon and Sutton Mandeville – to the South of the new Constituency. I am married to Helen and together we run a small shoot (she is the Gamekeeper – not bad for a vegetarian!). I also enjoy fishing, snowboarding and Beekeeping. In terms of measuring my performance and success - I will be accountable for the increase in Membership over the next 3 years. I am very keen to reinforce the excellent branch in Trowbridge and grow our representation in the towns across the constituency.”

Deputy Chairman Fundraising and Membership: Chris March

Hon Treasurer: Hugh Synge

Hugh Synge is a committed member of the Party and keen to support its environmental objectives. A botanist by training, he worked for many years at Kew Gardens saving endangered plants around the world - and for this work the BBC once placed him in a list of the top 20 conservationists in Britain. He now runs Soltrac, a renewable energy company in the constituency, helping to improve the energy efficiency of our aged housing stock. As Treasurer, drawing on his MBA and business experience, he will work to maintain a healthy financial position for the Association, enabling the important campaigning and volunteer work to continue.

Agent: Dirk Russell

Dirk joined the Party on his return from living abroad in 1980. His involvement evolved and in 1987 became a professional Agent for the Party. In 1996 he moved to Wiltshire when he became the Agent for the Salisbury Conservative Association. In 2007 he became Group Agent responsible for both Salisbury and South West Wiltshire Conservative Associations.
